Q Dietary Analysis Project • You will take 5 consecutive days to make a dietary journal in which you will record (at minimum). • 2 meals and 1 snack per day (at minimum). You must write about 3 to 5 nutrients in each of the items of your meal/snack. • For example, if you have popcorn and a coke for a snack, you write about the sodium, (un)saturated fats, and carbohydrate content of the popcorn. Then you’ll write about the carbohydrates, sodium, and any other nutrients in the coke. • Once you finish with the 5 days of recording, you will then total up each of the nutrients (i.e. grams of sugars, fats, proteins, etc.) and determine if your intake matches the RDAs (Recommended Dietary Allowance). • Finally, you will write a summary of your project, include your comparisons to the provided RDA in Blackboard, and determine how you should alter your diet to fit the RDA. ?
